Treatment with Clear Aligners

Dr. Jose Gil uses clear aligners for the treatment of cosmetic orthodontic concerns. Patients with more complex malocclusion may be referred to a local orthodontist so that they may receive the necessary treatment to correct their bite properly. Dr. Gil will thoroughly examine your smile to determine if clear aligners will be an effective solution for addressing your minor orthodontic concerns. If invisible braces are the appropriate treatment for you, treatment will begin.

Dr. Gil uses 3D digital imaging to create molds of the teeth. Then, based on the images, a series of clear aligners are made in a lab. Patients wear each set of aligners for approximately two weeks. After that, aligners are worn for 22 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients can remove their aligners for daily oral hygiene and during meals. Each set of aligners gradually shifts teeth further into proper alignment.
