It is never too late to straighten your teeth with invisible braces.
Invisible braces are ideal treatment options for correcting cosmetic concerns affecting the alignment of your teeth. Clear aligners offer adult patients a way to discreetly address minor orthodontic concerns without the hassle or stigma of traditional metal braces.
Adult patients can benefit from correcting misalignment or closing gaps in their teeth. Clear aligners can help adult patients address orthodontic relapse by gradually shifting teeth back into alignment should they shift after previous orthodontic treatment. In addition, patients with straighter teeth are less likely to develop tooth decay and enjoy a more beautiful and confident smile.
Benefits of Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are an ideal orthodontic cosmetic solution for adult patients looking to enjoy improved oral health and a more comfortable bite. These aligners provide added benefits when compared to metal braces. Benefits of clear aligners include:
- Removable for good oral hygiene
- No dietary restrictions
- Protects soft tissues
- Reduce tooth decay
- Less risk of tooth staining
Treatment with Clear Aligners
Dr. Jose Gil uses clear aligners for the treatment of cosmetic orthodontic concerns. Patients with more complex malocclusion may be referred to a local orthodontist so that they may receive the necessary treatment to correct their bite properly. Dr. Gil will thoroughly examine your smile to determine if clear aligners will be an effective solution for addressing your minor orthodontic concerns. If invisible braces are the appropriate treatment for you, treatment will begin.
Dr. Gil uses 3D digital imaging to create molds of the teeth. Then, based on the images, a series of clear aligners are made in a lab. Patients wear each set of aligners for approximately two weeks. After that, aligners are worn for 22 hours a day, seven days a week. Patients can remove their aligners for daily oral hygiene and during meals. Each set of aligners gradually shifts teeth further into proper alignment.
